RH6 Orientation Day
If you are planning to attend Sixth Form at Rugby High School you are invited to our Orientation Day on Monday 10th July, 8.40am - 2.45pm.
We are looking forward to welcoming you and sharing more of what RH6 life is like.
In order to plan catering, please confirm your attendance by emailing sixthformadmissions@rugbyhighschool.co.uk by Wednesday 28th June.
Our Orientation Day you will enjoy some A Level taster lessons, have the opportunity to meet other students and find out some more about what to expect when you join us for your A Level journey in September.
We are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our school community: this will be a day to look forward to after all your study and GCSE examinations are complete.

FAQs
Q. What are the timings of the day?
A. Arrive from 8.40am onwards for a 9.00am start. The day will finish at 2.45pm.
Please come to Reception where you will be welcomed by our Prefects and staff.
Parents / Carers - you are very welcome to stay for croissants and coffee between 8.30am - 9am after dropping your son/daughter off.
N.B. the roads around the school will be very busy on this day, as it is also the Year 6 induction day, so please allow time for parking on the nearby road and walking a short distance to school.
Q. What should I wear?
A. You can wear comfortable, casual clothes that are appropriate for the day. (no revealing or strappy tops, or very short shorts please!)
There is no need to wear school uniform.
Q. What happens on the day?
A. There will be a talk in the hall from Olga Dermott-Bond our Head of Sixth Form. There will be a chance to tour the school with one of our prefects or a member of our Senior Student Leadership Team and also a Q and A session. You’ll take part in an Icebreaker activity and experience a range of mini A Level lessons.
Q. Is lunch provided?
A. Yes, we will provide break and lunch on the day. Please bring a drink.
Q. What should I bring?
Bring a bottle of water and a snack, pen and paper or notebook.
