Ways in which parents / carers can communicate with the school and what you can expect in return.
Any emails sent to school should be acknowledged within 2 working days. Where this will not be possible we would try to give you a timeframe in which a reply will be sent. We would ask that you do not follow up an email sent until at least two working days have elapsed.
Where at all possible we will endeavour to resolve queries and questions as quickly as possible, but we are sure you understand that some questions may require more time before you receive a reply.
There will be a 2-week turnaround for any requests for feedback required for SEN referrals, such as for ASD/ADHD assessments.
If a response is required urgently, such as a safeguarding matter, it may be best to consider another form of contact rather than an email.
In the first instance, we would always advise that you contact your child’s form tutor for any pastoral questions, or their class teacher for curriculum-based questions. Where you may not have the member of staff’s email address, please email rhsadmin@rugbyhighschool.co.uk marking the email FAO – “name of member of staff”
