Curriculum Enhancement Week a huge success

Students have had a jam-packed week of activities, adventure, learning and fun, trying new things and making new friends!

Trips have gone to the Llain Activity Centre in Wales, the Opal Coast of France,CERN in Switzerland and World Challenge students headed to Borneo and Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold students headed to the Brecon Beacons for their expedition.

During Curriculum Enhancement week students have tried canoeing, paddle-boarding, zip-wiring, axe-throwing, completing forensic science days, crafting felted birds, watching movies, tackling the challenges of Wise Up Day, flamenco dancing, drama workshops, music sessions, creative writing, benchball, dodgeball, rounders, treasure trails, science and drama mash-ups, bracelet making, artful maths, devising school trips on Enterprise Day, talking with MI5 operatives in careers sessions and making films and stage productions.

Day trips have visited Harry Potter Studios, Alton Towers, Wicksteed Park, West Midlands Safari Park, Adventure 4 You centre, the Curve Theatre. All packed into one week!
