Leandra Khan - Finalist in Foxcroft Essay Competition
Leandra Khan in Year 12 was one of six finalists from a strong field of 40 science essay writers. All six received Gold certificates.
"I decided to participate in Rugby School's Foxcroft Essay competition to combine my learning in A-level Biology and further reading outside the classrom, to answer complex but fascinating questions using my own research. The final included a brief presentation on my Biology essay, in front of judges, other finalists and audience members, followed by a question-and-answer session which all took place in the Foxcroft Atrium in Rugby School's science building. Taking part in the competition has definitely sparked my interest even further in biology and seeing other finalists' science essays and presentations has been very inspiring! "
